Document and report quality findings, deviations, and corrective actions taken, maintaining accurate records, logs, and inspection reports for traceability and accountability. Collaborate with production teams, engineers, and suppliers to address quality issues, resolve discrepancies, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to prevent recurrence. Conduct root cause analysis and problem-solving activities to identify underlying causes of quality issues, applying techniques such as 5 Whys, fishbone diagrams, and Pareto analysis. Monitor adherence to quality standards, work instructions, and regulatory requirements throughout the production process, ensuring compliance with ISO, FDA, or industry-specific quality standards. Train and educate production staff on quality control processes, procedures, and best practices, fostering a culture of quality awareness, accountability, and continuous improvement. Participate in product development and validation activities, providing input on design reviews, risk assessments, and validation protocols to ensure product quality and reliability. Coordinate with external auditors, customers, and regulatory agencies during quality audits, inspections, or certifications, providing documentation and support as needed. Conduct supplier quality assessments and inspections, evaluating supplier performance, capabilities, and adherence to quality standards, and communicating feedback to suppliers. Implement quality assurance tools and techniques, such as statistical process control (SPC), Six Sigma, or lean manufacturing principles, to monitor and improve process performance and product quality. Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and advancements in quality management practices, participating in training programs, seminars, and professional development activities.
