Description
Responsibilities : • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure all acceptance criteria are met. • Implement and monitor automated and manual test scripts to assess the functionality, reliability, performance, and quality of products and services. • Collaborate closely with software engineers to gain an in-depth understanding of product architecture and features. • Create and maintain data scenarios to support test plans and test cases, ensuring accurate and effective testing processes. • Identify, document, and track bugs to resolution, ensuring timely closure of all issues. • Recommend, implement, and monitor preventive and corrective actions to maintain high-quality standards. • Compile and analyze statistical data to support quality assurance activities and decision-making. • Ensure user expectations are consistently met throughout the testing process. • Maintain quality assurance policies and procedures in alignment with industry standards. • Investigate and resolve customer complaints and product issues to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. • Ensure ongoing compliance with quality assurance standards and industry regulatory requirements. • Strong voice to participate in all Scrum sprint ceremonies and ensure proper QA testing activities. Mandatory Qualifications : • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field; or equivalent experience. • 5+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on quality assurance. • Proficiency in using QA tools such as Azure DevOps, Postman, Chrome dev tools, and similar for testing, tracking, and automation. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; including the ability to clearly articulate technical information, and to prepare and organize screen shots to clearly document issues. • Strong general computer skills, including a high degree of comfort with web-based applications. • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail. Preferred Qualifications : 2+ years of experience in the Department of Revenue domain, with a deep understanding of its unique requirements and challenges. • Experience with Azure DevOps for inputting test plans, test case, bugs, and other items. • Experience with Agile methodology and Scrum. • Familiarity with one or more traditional RDBMS such as PostgreSQL and/or NOSQL databases such as MarkLogic. • Familiarity with Postman, Swagger, and REST API testing. • Ability to navigate Linux based systems and experience with remote server access via PuTTY. • Strong client presence.
