Senior Quality Assurance Lead

You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive test plans to ensure all acceptance criteria are met. Implementing and monitoring automated and manual test scripts to assess the functionality, reliability, performance, and quality of products and services will be key aspects of your role. It is important to collaborate closely with software engineers to gain an in-depth understanding of product architecture and features. Additionally, creating and maintaining data scenarios to support test plans and test cases, ensuring accurate and effective testing processes, will be part of your routine. Identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs to resolution is crucial, ensuring timely closure of all issues. You will need to recommend, implement, and monitor preventive and corrective actions to maintain high-quality standards. Compiling and analyzing statistical data to support quality assurance activities and decision-making will be an essential part of your responsibilities. Ensuring user expectations are consistently met throughout the testing process is also a key component of the role. Maintaining quality assurance policies and procedures in alignment with industry standards is necessary. You will be required to investigate and resolve customer complaints and product issues to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Ensuring ongoing compliance with quality assurance standards and industry regulatory requirements is a critical aspect of the job. You will also need to have a strong voice to participate in all Scrum sprint ceremonies and ensure proper QA testing activities. Mandatory Qualifications: - A Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field; or equivalent experience. - 5+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on quality assurance. - Proficiency in using QA tools such as Azure DevOps, Postman, Chrome dev tools, and similar for testing, tracking, and automation. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; including the ability to clearly articulate technical information, and to prepare and organize screen shots to clearly document issues. - Strong general computer skills, including a high degree of comfort with web-based applications. - Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail. Preferred Qualifications: - 2+ years of experience in the Department of Revenue domain, with a deep understanding of its unique requirements and challenges. - Experience with Azure DevOps for inputting test plans, test case, bugs, and other items. - Experience with Agile methodology and Scrum. - Familiarity with one or more traditional RDBMS such as PostgreSQL and/or NOSQL databases such as MarkLogic. - Familiarity with Postman, Swagger, and REST API testing. - Ability to navigate Linux-based systems and experience with remote server access via PuTTY. - Strong client presence.,
