You'll work hands-on to test, validate, and automate key areas of our fast-scaling SaaS product, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ship high-quality features. Key Responsibilities Perform Backend Testing and API Testing to validate business logic and system behavior Design and execute test cases for RESTful APIs, services, and integrations Use tools like Postman , Rest Assured , and SoapUI for manual and automated API validation Create and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Mocha, JUnit , or TestNG Write test automation in JavaScript , Java , or Python Participate in Agile sprints , collaborating with developers, DevOps, and product managers Help identify bugs, performance issues, and test coverage gaps Report test results, bugs, and quality metrics using tools like Jira, TestRail, or similar Support release cycles with regression testing and release validation Must-Have Skills 2–5 years of hands-on experience in Backend and API Testing Proficiency in Postman , Rest Assured , and/or SoapUI Strong understanding of web applications , SaaS platforms , and microservices Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, Mocha) Scripting experience in JavaScript , Java , or Python Good analytical, debugging, and communication skills Familiarity with SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies Good-to-Have Skills Knowledge of Node.js or JavaScript ES6 for API interaction Experience working in cloud-based environments Exposure to CI/CD tools , Git, and test reporting frameworks Prior experience at a startup or product-based company Why Join AiSensy?
