Senior QA Engineer

About the Role

As a Senior QA Engineer at Kenko AI, you will own end-to-end quality across a complex, multi-surface product including web dashboards, mobile apps, booking widgets, payment flows, and AI-driven automations. You will be responsible for defining test strategy and automation for critical paths such as payments (Stripe/Adyen), scheduling, membership management, and real-time messaging, ensuring robust release quality gates and comprehensive regression coverage as the platform scales. You will partner closely with pod leads to integrate quality left in the development lifecycle.

Role Responsibilities

• Ensure end-to-end quality across web dashboards, mobile apps, booking widgets, payment flows, and AI-driven automations.
• Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and automation for critical paths like payments, scheduling, and membership management.
• Establish and maintain robust release quality gates and regression coverage to support platform scalability.
• Collaborate closely with engineering pod leads to integrate quality assurance practices early in the development process.
• Contribute to building and refining QA processes in a dynamic and evolving product environment.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in QA or SDET roles, ideally within B2B SaaS or fintech.
• Strong proficiency in test automation tools such as Cypress, Playwright, or similar, and API testing with Postman or REST-assured.
• Proven experience in testing payments, subscriptions, or other transactional systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with mobile testing (iOS/Android).
• Experience with performance testing or exposure to data pipelines.

Good to Have

• Ability to build and define QA processes rather than just following existing ones.
• Comfort working in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment.
