Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess project requirements and stakeholder needs to determine the appropriate testing approach.
• Identify opportunities to improve testing processes and efficiency, building automation when applicable.
•  Evaluate the application and test cases to be automated. Work with QA Engineers to create a library of automated tests to maximize test coverage.
•  Conduct manual testing of software applications, thoroughly documenting test cases and results when applicable.
•  Communicate test progress, findings, and potential issues clearly to the project team and stakeholders.
•  Analyze product requirements and ensure the testing is aligned with a risk-based test approach, mitigating risk exposure within all phases of testing.
•  Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
•  Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
•  Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and confidence to work with senior stakeholders from development and product.
• Provide release support during production software deployment.
•  Perform maintenance and deployment activities on QA servers.
•  A "can do" attitude and enjoys working within a highly collaborative work environment.
•  Should be able analyze and execute projects independently from start to end.
•  Work as part of a project team, escalating critical / urgent issues to project managers.
•  Participate in the pre / post deployment tests.
• Responsibility to adhere to set internal controls.

•  Required patience, tact and diplomacy to maintain a cooperative relationship with the other teams (e.g. developers, analysts/project managers/business clients, etc.)
•  Ability to provide honest feedback on the quality of the web user experience and the work of the Design & Development Teams
•  Strong interest in understanding the business requirements and focus on ensuring the application is delivering what the business needs.
•  Strong computer / MS Office technical skills
•  Excellent written and verbal skills.
•  Ability to communicate effectively.

• Bachelor’s or MS degree in Computer Science and Engineering or equivalent experience.
