Salary-Maximum 40 k per Month

A Senior Purchase Manager oversees the entire procurement process, which includes developing purchasing strategies, managing a team, and ensuring all activities align with company budgets and standards.

Key responsibilities

negotiating with suppliers, managing vendor relationships, analyzing market trends, and working with other departments to optimize operations and mitigate supply chain risks.

Job responsibilities

• Strategy and planning: Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize costs, maintain quality, and mitigate risks. Plan and oversee the work of buyers and purchasing agents.
• Supplier management: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers. Negotiate contracts to achieve favorable terms for price, quality, and reliability. Manage and build strong relationships with vendors.
• Team leadership: Lead and manage a team of procurement staff, providing guidance, training, and support.
• Cost and budget control: Ensure all purchasing activities are within the company's budget and contribute to cost savings. Analyze market trends and cost estimates to make informed purchasing decisions.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with other departments like product development and operations to meet business needs and support strategic goals.
• Process improvement: Analyze and improve procurement processes to increase efficiency and reduce risks.

Qualifications

• Education: Typically requires a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Experience:7 to 10+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related area, with a proven track record of success. Experience in a leadership role is often required.
• Skills:
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and data analysis.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
