Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute procurement strategies for mechanical and electrical materials, ensuring alignment with the company’s production and operational needs.
• Conduct market analysis and stay updated on industry trends to identify cost-effective suppliers and materials for procurement.
• Plan and forecast material requirements based on production schedules and project timelines.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers, striving for mutually beneficial agreements that optimize costs while ensuring timely deliveries.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring that they adhere to agreed delivery schedules and quality standards.
• Implement Just-In-Time (JIT) and other inventory management techniques to optimize stock levels and reduce carrying costs.
• Track and monitor materials from order placement to delivery, ensuring that all materials are delivered on time and meet the required specifications.
• Monitor and control the purchasing budget for mechanical and electrical materials, ensuring that expenditures are within planned limits.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities, negotiate discounts, and take advantage of bulk purchasing or long-term agreements where applicable.
• Lead and manage a team of purchasing professionals, including buyers and procurement coordinators, ensuring alignment with department goals and operational requirements.
• Provide guidance, training, and performance evaluations for the team to develop skills and ensure continuous improvement.
• Ensure that all purchased mechanical and electrical components meet quality and safety standards required by the company and relevant industry regulations.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, company policies, and ethical sourcing practices.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and R&D teams to identify new or alternative materials and components for future product development or improvements.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year
