Job Title: Senior Project Engineer Location: Kochi, Kerala Industry: Renewable Energy – Solar Power Employment Type: Full-time Role Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Solar EPC Project Manager to lead and oversee the execution of solar energy projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in solar EPC, a deep understanding of government tendering processes, and familiarity with KSEB regulations and procedures. Key Responsibilities Project Management: Lead end-to-end execution of solar EPC projects, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budgets, and compliance with quality standards. Tendering & Bidding: Identify and evaluate government and private sector tenders related to solar projects. Prepare and submit comprehensive bids, ensuring compliance with all technical and financial requirements. Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with government bodies, KSEB, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and resolve any issues promptly. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with local regulations, including KSEB guidelines, and manage the necessary approvals and documentation. Technical Oversight: Oversee the design, procurement, and construction phases of solar projects, ensuring optimal system performance and integration. Qualifications & Skills Educational Background: Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in managing solar EPC projects, with a proven track record in government tendering processes. Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, electrical systems, and project management tools. Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with KSEB regulations, subsidy schemes like Soura, and PM-KUSUM guidelines. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Malayalam. Software Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite; experience with tender submission portals and project management software is a plus. Preferred Attributes Leadership: Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage cross-functional teams. Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills. Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
