Symagine offers consulting, research and project management solutions to clients in the areas of social innovation, environmental restoration, socio-economic research & development. On behalf of one of its affiliated companies Symagine is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of “Senior Project Coordinator”

The Senior Project Manager will oversee the project implementations of multiple stakeholders for a collective impact initiative within a designated eco-region. The candidate will coordinate partners and their overall activities to ensure alignment with the initiative’s shared goals and measurement systems.

Job responsibilities

Energetic candidate with expertise and experience in the following areas should apply:

  • Oversee the macro-planning, implementation, and monitoring of multiple projects within the eco-region, ensuring alignment with the initiative’s theory of change and strategic goals.
  • Maintain strong, trust-based relationships with local stakeholders and serve as the main point of contact for the eco-region
  • Measurement and Reporting of projects to track progress and ensure timely delivery of outputs and outcomes. Produce periodic progress reports, dashboards, and documentation for steering committees and funders.
  • Translate regional data, insights, and needs into actionable recommendations for the central backbone team, which will be based abroad.
  • Synthesize learning from field activities to inform iterative project improvement and strategy refinement.
  • Facilitate collaboration between stakeholders through regular field visits and support communication flows among partners. Convene regular working groups, partner meetings, and cross-sector learning sessions to maintain alignment and shared accountability.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation, scaling, and integration across project domains (e.g., ecological restoration, livelihoods, regenerative agriculture, social enterprise, etc.).

Qualification and Experience

  • Master’s degree in any discipline. For exceptionally suitable candidates a Bachelor’s degree may also be sufficient for application.
  • Written and spoken knowledge of English and Bengali.
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and flair for frequent work related travels
  • 6–10+ years of experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects—preferably in environmental, rural development, social innovation, or collective impact initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience working with communities and diverse partners, including NGOs, social businesses, government agencies, etc..
  • Strong project management skills, with competence in budgeting, reporting and monitoring frameworks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
