About the role


The Senior Product Analyst is responsible for working with the Scrum Teams to implement the vision and strategy for one or more of Aptean’s Supply Chain products. Based on priorities set by the Product Manager, the Senior Product Analyst works with Scrum team(s) to transform features into actionable product backlogs, and work with the Scrum to implement the features.They work in conjunction with the Product Manager to prioritize and maintain the sprint backlog for assigned products, balancing the requirements of internal stakeholders and client requests.


Technical & Product Expertise


  • Become an expert on one of Aptean’s supply chain technologies and services solutions
  • Effectively describe features and problems in Epics and User Stories, and work with Scrum team(s) to refine, break down, and transform them into actionable product backlogs
  • Prioritize and maintain the sprint backlog for assigned products, balancing the requirements of stakeholders
  • Serves as liaison between Client Support and the Scrum team
  • Validate client-reported defects and prioritize them for resolution within required SLA
  • Serve as an internal product expert to support other departments and clients that are implementing and supporting the product
  • Work with User Experience team to design and validate usable interfaces and product prototypes
  • Contribute to systems of knowledge that help all employees to understand, use, sell, and support the product
  • Assist Product Managers in producing business cases for initiatives to justify investment decisions
  • Gather and analyze data to inform product decisions


Product Lifecycle Management


  • Participate in the planning, prioritization and management of the product features and requirements from conceptual stages through product life cycles to optimize revenue and meet operational, financial and corporate objectives
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to prepare release objectives, messaging and internal and external launch
  • Must be able to translate business problems into technical requirements
  • Must have working knowledge of the product life cycle phases, including engineering specifications, customer requirements gathering, software design and development, implementation/delivery and maintenance.

About you


  • 4+ years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree is required
  • Experience in an Agile development environment
  • Excellent written, presentation and communication skills
  • Analytical thinking & problem-solving mindset


Preferred


  • Experience with supply chain planning, either as a software provider or a supply chain practitioner.
