Inviting applications for the role of Senior Principal Consultant – L3 Network Architect
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our organization’s network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with FortiGate firewalls, Cisco Meraki, Cisco routers and switches, and Cisco ASA, along with strong knowledge of FortiClient VPN and Forti Switch technologies. You will play a key role in ensuring high availability, security, and performance across all network systems.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of escalation for L3-level network issues and outages.
- Design, deploy, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure using Cisco and Fortinet technologies.
- Manage and administer FortiGate firewalls, Cisco Meraki, Cisco ASA, and Forti Switch devices.
- Configure and support VPN solutions including FortiClient VPN for remote connectivity.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and optimize network operations.
- Implement and maintain network security measures, access controls, and policies.
- Perform firmware upgrades, patch management, and backup of network configurations.
- Support users and teams with network-related technical issues and service requests.
- Collaborate with IT and security teams on network architecture, design, and disaster recovery plans.
- Maintain accurate network documentation including topology diagrams, configurations, and change logs.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and support network-related audit activities.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Network Engineer or similar role.
- Strong expertise with FortiGate Firewalls (policy configuration, routing, VPN setup).
- Hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki dashboard management and troubleshooting.
- Proficient in Cisco routing and switching technologies (IOS, VLANs, STP, EIGRP/OSPF).
- Experience with Cisco ASA firewall configuration and management.
- Knowledge of Forti Switch setup and integration within Fortinet environments.
- Experience managing VPN solutions such as FortiClient VPN.
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, NAT, QoS, and general networking principles.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools and performance analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
