Job Summary:
The Operations Manager will oversee the end-to-end operations of the e-commerce. The role involves managing product listings, inventory, logistics, order fulfillment, returns, and coordination with vendors and warehouse teams to ensure smooth daily functioning and growth of online sales.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Marketplace Operations Management
Manage day-to-day operations on all related other platforms.
Ensure product listings, pricing, and stock levels are accurate and updated.
Monitor and optimize fulfillment processes (through their warehouses.).
Handle order processing, dispatch, delivery tracking, and return management.
2. Inventory & Warehouse Coordination
Maintain optimal stock levels across platforms and warehouses.
Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and warehouse staff for restocking and
dispatch.
Track slow-moving or high-demand SKUs to minimize stockouts and
overstocking.
3. Performance Monitoring & Analytics
Monitor sales performance, order volumes, and platform health metrics (Buy Box
%, order defect rate, late dispatch rate, etc.).
Prepare weekly and monthly reports on sales, margins, and operational
efficiency.
Track sales incentive and create workings of monthly credit notes
Identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements.
4. Vendor & Logistics Management
Liaise with courier partners and 3PL logistics providers for timely delivery and
return pickups.
Ensure cost-efficient shipping and negotiate better logistics terms when needed.
Manage claims, reimbursements, and reconciliation of accounts with platforms.
5. Team & Coordination
Supervise and train a small team handling catalog, dispatch, and customer
service.
Coordinate with marketing, finance, and product teams to support business
objectives.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or Supply Chain
Management.
5–8 years of experience in e-commerce operations.
Familiarity with online platform and other marketplace dashboards.
Experience managing FBA / Easy Ship / logistics workflows.
Strong analytical and Excel/reporting skills.
Key Skills:
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Strong understanding of e-commerce logistics and seller operations.
Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and marketplace tools.
Effective communication and vendor management skills.
Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
