Senior Onboarding Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Onboarding Management

• Lead and oversee the entire onboarding lifecycle from offer acceptance to integration into the team.
• Develop and implement structured onboarding programs aligned with company culture and business needs.
• Ensure smooth coordination of pre-joining activities such as documentation, background verification, and system access.

• Employee Experience

• Serve as the main point of contact for new hires during the onboarding journey.
• Conduct orientation sessions to introduce new employees to company policies, values, and culture.
• Gather feedback from new hires and continuously improve onboarding effectiveness.

• Process Improvement & Compliance

• Standardize and document onboarding workflows and ensure compliance with labor laws, HR policies, and organizational standards.
• Collaborate with IT, Admin, and Payroll teams to ensure timely provisioning of systems, tools, and resources.
• Monitor onboarding metrics and prepare reports on new hire satisfaction, retention, and process efficiency.

• Collaboration & Leadership

• Partner with Talent Acquisition, HRBPs, and business managers to ensure effective workforce integration.
• Mentor and guide junior onboarding coordinators or specialists.
• Drive special projects such as digital onboarding, employer branding initiatives, and cultural integration activities.

Qualifications & Skills

• 4-5 years of experience in HR, with at least 3 years focused on onboarding or employee engagement.
• Strong knowledge of HR processes, compliance, and onboarding best practices.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities, manage stakeholders, and deliver within timelines.
• Proficiency in HRIS, ATS, and onboarding tools; familiarity with digital onboarding platforms is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to track metrics and recommend improvements.
