Job Description

Position: HR Assistant

Industry: Solar EPC / Infrastructure / Construction

Experience: 24 Years (Infra / EPC preferred)

Location: Office + Site Coordination (AP / Telangana)

Role Overview

The HR Assistant will support end-to-end HR operations for both office staff and site teams, including recruitment coordination, onboarding, attendance, payroll inputs, statutory compliance support, and workforce disciplinespecifically aligned with solar EPC and infra project environments.

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Onboarding

Coordinate hiring for site engineers, electricians, supervisors, helpers, storekeepers

Schedule interviews, collect documents, verify credentials

Prepare offer letters, appointment letters, ID cards

Handle onboarding for project-based & contract staff

2. Attendance & Payroll Support

Maintain daily attendance for office & site teams

Track site labour, supervisors, electricians, technicians

Prepare monthly payroll inputs (attendance, OT, leaves, advances)

Coordinate with accounts for salary processing

3. HR Operations & Records

Maintain employee files (KYC, certificates, contracts)

Track joining, exit, absconding, terminations

Handle leave records, permissions, warnings, notices

Support F&F settlement documentation

4. Site HR Coordination (Critical for EPC)

Coordinate with Site In-Charges & Project Managers

Handle labour issues, replacements, misconduct escalation

Ensure manpower availability as per project schedule

Support mobilization & demobilization of site staff

5. Statutory & Compliance Support

Assist in ESI, PF, labour compliance documentation

Maintain contractor labour records where applicable

Support audits and inspections (if required)

6. Discipline & HR Governance

Enforce HR policies, site discipline & code of conduct

Issue warning letters, show-cause notices (as instructed)

Ensure proper exit formalities & handover

Required Skills & Experience

24 years HR experience in Infra / Solar / EPC / Construction

Strong understanding of site manpower handling

Basic knowledge of labour laws, PF, ESI

Experience handling contract & project-based workforce

Good coordination skills with site & accounts teams

Comfortable with Excel, HR registers, WhatsApp coordination

Ability to handle pressure, disputes & urgency
