Role & responsibilities: • Manage end-to-end payroll processing for employees, ensuring accuracy and timely disbursement. Ensure full compliance with statutory requirements including PF, ESIC, POSH, and LWF. Handle payroll software transitions, including data migration, reconciliation, and system validation. Address employee queries related to salary, deductions, reimbursements, and time & attendance. Support salary structuring and restructuring in alignment with company policies and statutory norms. Conduct employee feedback calls, manage KRA/KPI tracking, and handle monthly probation and confirmation reviews. Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure strict confidentiality of employee data. Stay updated with labor laws, statutory amendments, and payroll best practices. Support audits and compliance reporting as required. Conduct training sessions on the use of time and attendance tracking systems. Required Skills & Qualifications • 3-4+ years of hands-on experience in payroll processing, preferably in startups or fast growing organizations. • Proficiency in payroll software, HRIS, and time & attendance systems. • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas, data validation). • Experience managing payroll for multiple employee categories and pay structures. • High level of attention to detail and accuracy. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Effective time management with the ability to meet strict payroll deadlines. • Clear communication and strong collaboration skills.
