We are seeking a Senior Manager for our Technology Governance – IT Asset Management team, intended to provide team leadership, thought leadership, decision support, analytics and reporting primarily focused on Hardware and Software Asset Management.
Key Responsibilities
Govern the end-to-end lifecycle of hardware and software asset management processes, ensuring compliance with policies, standards and regulations.Overall platform owner of the ITAM ServiceNow HAM Pro and SAM Pro applications.Lead a global team of ITAM analysts governing the end to end lifecycle of all IT Assets.Ensure proper hardware and software deployment, maintenance, relocation and disposal processes are aligned with company standards and lifecycle policies.Ensure Asset Owners adhere to the ITAM process and requirementsDefine and enhance scheme for identifying hardware and software-related assets as well as CIs, including versioning in the asset management tools, attributes, the Contract management library, and the CMDB.Drive cost optimization efforts to deliver savings through effective license reuse, consolidation, and vendor negotiations.Onboard new software vendors for BAU Governance by collaborating with Procurement and Line of Business teams to create baseline inventory of entitlements and deployments.Ensure the data quality, audits of data and interfaces between the tools and provide reporting on the asset management configuration items.Gather data and report effectiveness of IT asset management processes using pre-defined KPIs/metrics.Creation of process guidelines/documentation and procedures to mature the Ameriprise TI asset management area.Required Experience
10+ years of experience in hardware asset management and Software Asset Management5+ Years experience managing global IT teamsDeep technical knowledge with ITAM tools ServiceNow SAM and HAM proSoftware licensing knowledge for large strategic publishersConfiguration Management experienceExperience of working in a multi-site environment.Strong verbal & written communication skill with attention to detail.Preferred Knowledge
Broader IT Governance experience in areas such as Risk, Assurance, FinOps and Vendor Management.Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, etc.)Independent problem-solving ability & handling complex analysis.Ability to manage multiple tasks & projects simultaneously.Sound business knowledge (Preferably Tech ) and ability to apply it in analysis.About Our Company
