As we expand our footprint in North America, we are seeking a dynamic Sales Head – North America to spearhead revenue growth, lead business development, and manage sales operations from our Chennai office, with travel to the US and Canada for key events, client meetings, and partnerships.
The Sales Head – North America will be responsible for end-to-end revenue generation, pipeline growth, and sales operations for the US and Canadian markets. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on business development, ensuring Illumine-i is positioned as a trusted engineering partner across energy sectors.
Revenue & Business Development

Own annual and quarterly revenue targets for North America.

Drive new business acquisition while expanding existing accounts.

Build senior-level relationships with EPCs, developers, utilities, and strategic partners.
Sales Operations & Leadership

Manage sales operations, reporting, forecasting, and CRM discipline.

Lead, mentor, and scale the sales team aligned to North America.

Develop and enforce structured sales processes and KPIs.
Pipeline Generation & Market Development

Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.

Identify and target key opportunities in Solar, BESS, and EV infrastructure.

Attend industry events and conferences to enhance visibility and lead flow.
Client Engagement & Negotiation

Lead high-value negotiations and close strategic contracts.

Ensure exceptional customer experience through alignment with engineering teams.

Position Illumine-i as a strategic partner, not just a vendor.
Cross-Functional Collaboration

Collaborate with Marketing and Demand Generation for lead campaigns.

Work with Delivery/Engineering to align solutions with client requirements.

Provide market insights to leadership for strategy refinement.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, and Master's in Business or related field (MBA preferred).

12+ years of progressive sales experience, with 5+ years in leadership.

Demonstrated track record of achieving multi-million-dollar revenue targets.

Experience in renewable energy, engineering services, or CleanTech markets is an advantage.

Strong business development and deal-closing skills.

Familiarity with the North American energy market landscape is a plus.
