Role Description

The incumbent will be responsible for end-to-end finance operations, NBFC accounting, audits, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with RBI and statutory requirements, while supporting business scale-up and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage

  NBFC accounting

  , including loan book accounting, interest recognition, ECL/Ind-AS provisioning, and NPA classification
• Oversee preparation and review of

  financial statements

  in compliance with

  Ind-AS

• Ensure timely and accurate

  RBI, statutory, and internal reporting

• Lead

  monthly, quarterly, and annual closing

  processes
• Drive

  budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

• Coordinate with

  statutory auditors, internal auditors, lenders, and regulators

• Strengthen

  financial controls, processes, and governance frameworks

• Support fundraising, lender due diligence, and business expansion initiatives
• Collaborate closely with product, risk, operations, and leadership teams

Qualifications & Experience

• CA / MBA (Finance) / Master’s degree

  in Finance, Accounting, or related field

• 6–10 years of relevant experience

  , with

  mandatory NBFC accounting exposure

• Strong knowledge of

  Ind-AS, RBI regulations, and NBFC compliance

• Hands-on experience in

  financial reporting, budgeting, and audits

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work in a

  fast-paced fintech/start-up environment

• Prior experience in

  FinTech / Lending / Financial Services

  is highly preferred
• Professional certifications (CA, CFA, CPA) are a strong plus
