THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced, business-minded, challenges lover to become our Senior Finance Controller for our Global IT Services team. The position will be based in Mumbai.The Global IT services team manages a budget of $16m of opex and $5m of Capex and works to support all the IT related topics for all the Business Lines of Linedata.This position is suited for a well-rounded, experienced Finance professional who has few year experience in business controlling and has worked in high-performing environments where Finance played an integral role in the execution of the business strategy.This is an ideal role for a high performer who is looking for her/his next opportunity and is interested in Technology related topics.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Prepare and report monthly financial statements to Corporate Headquarters.
- Update database of cost management and forecasting
- Update allocation key
- Validate and challenge the monthly invoicing from our key IT partner
- Control the cost re-charges
- Actively participate with the creation of the budget
- Analyse and comment on variances between budget and forecast.
- Assist in Managing finance related relationship with our key strategic IT partners (HCL, AWS, Microsoft)
- Work with each Business line financial controller to help them identify cost savings or optimization opportunities
- Assist in preparing Business cases and ROI on transformation, optimization or cost savings projects
- Help build and develop a FinOps practice in relation with the increase of spend with cloud providers
- Assist in tracking and renewals of our IT contracts
- Assist accounting team overseas in their IT cost allocation, reconciliation and intercompany recharges.
- Assess controls/processes and recommend changes that are fit for purpose.
- Work on Adhoc projects as and when required by the business.
Job Requirement
Knowledge, Experience And Skills
This position requires a bachelor’s degree in business, controlling, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, and 3-5+ years of progressive controlling experience.The candidate must:
