This role involves analyzing engineering projects from a financial perspective, optimizing resource allocation, and ensuring that engineering initiatives align with strategic business objectives. The specialist collaborates closely with engineering teams and senior management to drive financial efficiency and maximize ROI on engineering investments. Key Responsibilities: 1. Financial Analysis Conduct financial analyses of engineering projects, including cost-benefit analysis, ROI calculations, and risk assessments. Evaluate capital expenditure and operational expenditure proposals, and provide commercial recommendations to the engineering and procurement teams. 2. Resource Allocation Collaborate with engineering leaders to optimize resource and budget allocation. Identify opportunities to reduce costs and enhance resource efficiency in engineering operations. 3. Business Unit Planning and Analysis Partner with the finance and engineering teams to publish monthly business unit-level P&L along with key revenue metrics and engineering cost tracking.
