Work Mode : In Office Location : Bangalore (Bannerghatta Road) Job Profile: ·The Engineering Business Finance team plays a pivotal role in the financial operations of Amagi, focusing on the intersection of engineering and business finance. This role involves analyzing engineering projects from a financial perspective, optimizing resource allocation, and ensuring that engineering initiatives align with strategic business objectives. The specialist collaborates closely with engineering teams and senior management to drive financial efficiency and maximize ROI on engineering investments. Key Responsibilities: 1. Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analyses of engineering projects, including cost-benefit analysis, ROI calculations, and risk assessments. Evaluate capital expenditure and operational expenditure proposals, and provide commercial recommendations to the engineering and procurement teams. 2. Resource Allocation: Collaborate with engineering leaders to optimize resource allocation and budget allocation. Identify opportunities to reduce costs and enhance resource efficiency in engineering operations. 3. Business unit planning and analysis: Partner with the finance and the engineering team to publish monthly Business unit level P&L along with key revenue metrics and the engineering team's cost Analyze variances between actuals and budgets, identifying potential risks and opportunities for improvement. 4. Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement within engineering business finance operations and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in engineering finance to drive continuous improvement. What we are looking for: Qualified MBA / CA with 8 to 12 years of post-qualification experience Strong analytical skills, with experience in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence decision-making. Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making and problem-solving. Prior experience in a similar role in a SaaS company or technology industry is preferred.
