About (Department)

The Office of Admissions is responsible for an effective and efficient admission process in line with the vision of the University. The major functions of the Office of Admissions include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Advise students about programmes offered, admission procedure, eligibility, and costs involved.
  • Follow up with students for any enquiries through direct meetings, phone calls, or emails, providing clarification in a professional manner.
  • Analyse the applications of prospective students based on the standard admission policies.
  • Coordinate with faculty members to select students for enrollment in different programmes.
  • Review applications of students who seek financial assistance.
  • Participate in outreach activities such as education events, open houses, education fairs, school visits, and off-campus events.
  • Work closely with academic staff and the marketing office to ensure maximum student enrolments.
  • Develop strategies and enrollment plans in coordination with senior management to enhance brand perception and enrol more students.
  • Maintain a database of students to generate MIS reports for management for effective decision-making whenever required.
  • Contribute to the continuous development and improvement of the admission process, ensuring high-quality service.
  • Ensure timely fee collections from the students pertaining to revenue generation.
  • Establish good PR with stakeholders, including faculty, students, parents, and bankers, to ensure maximum enrollment and retention of students.

Required Education Qualification

  • Graduate/Post Graduate in any stream.

Years of Experience

  • Minimum 10–12 years of experience in the relevant roles.

Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs)

  • Manage the entire admissions funnel, ensuring timely follow-up, conversion tracking, and achievement of defined enrollment targets.
  • Supervise and motivate counselling and contact centre teams, ensuring high-quality student and parent interactions.
  • Plan and organise on-campus admission events, including open houses, campus tours, counselling days, and student experience sessions.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and outreach teams to ensure effective lead flow and communication consistency.
  • Maintain accurate MIS reports and dashboards covering leads, applications, offers, and admissions, updated daily for management review.
  • Use CRM platforms (ExtraEdge/Meritto) for data tracking, performance analysis, and team productivity measurement.
  • Employ AI tools and automation to forecast student behaviour and enhance counselling effectiveness.
  • Analyse applicant data, regional trends, and conversion ratios to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with the University’s admission policies and deliver a seamless student journey.
  • Foster a high-performance culture within the admissions team that emphasises ownership, accuracy, and speed.
