About the Role

Key Responsibilities

Conduct title searches & ownership verification to ensure clear property titles.
Draft, review & negotiate mortgage-related legal documents.
Provide legal advisory to Banks/NBFCs on mortgage products & regulations.
Identify & mitigate legal risks while ensuring strict regulatory compliance.
Manage escalations & maintain strong client relationships with Banks/NBFCs.
Collaborate with internal teams for smooth operations.
Prevent fraud through diligent checks & monitoring.
Lead, mentor & manage legal teams for optimal performance.
Drive client retention & business growth.

Qualifications

Law degree with strong expertise in mortgage lending laws & regulations.
Proven experience in mortgage, banking, or NBFCs.
Strong analytical, advisory & negotiation skills.
Excellent communication & problem-solving abilities.
Leadership experience in managing legal teams.
