Senior Investment Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Senior Investment Operations Analyst to support daily investment operations for a global asset management client. The primary responsibility is to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data within the Investment Book of Record (IBOR) through rigorous reconciliation, exception management, and operational oversight.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical capabilities, deep understanding of investment lifecycle events, and hands-on experience with reconciliation, NAV support, trade processing, and cash/position break resolution.

Key Responsibilities1. Reconciliation & Data Integrity

• Perform daily reconciliation of cash, positions, and transactions between internal systems (IBOR) and external sources (custodians, brokers, fund admins).
• Identify, investigate, and resolve breaks in a timely manner.
• Validate pricing, corporate actions, and security master data to ensure high-quality investment data.

2. Trade Operations

• Support trade capture, trade matching, and settlement processes across asset classes.
• Coordinate with brokers, custodians, and the front office to resolve trade discrepancies.
• Monitor settlement status and ensure timely exception closure.

3. Corporate Actions & Pricing

• Review and verify corporate action events (dividends, mergers, splits, coupon payments).
• Validate daily price feeds and security valuations across fixed income, equities, and derivatives.

4. Cash & Position Management

• Oversee daily cash projections, cash flows, and liquidity reporting.
• Assist in monitoring collateral movements and margin requirements (if applicable).
• Support inter-system reconciliations (ABOR to IBOR/IBOR to PB).

5. Reporting & Controls

• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly investment operations reports for internal teams.
• Maintain strong documentation and adhere to operational controls, audit requirements, and SLAs.
• Support process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

6. Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with portfolio managers, traders, custodians, fund accountants, and technology teams.
• Provide timely issue escalation and resolve operational bottlenecks.

Required Skills & ExperienceTechnical & Functional Skills

• 5–10 years of experience in investment operations, preferably in asset management, fund accounting, or investment banking.
• Strong understanding of investment products: Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, FX, ETFs, Mutual Funds, Alternatives.
• Hands-on experience with reconciliation tools (e.g., TLM, BlackRock Aladdin, Eagle, SimCorp, or similar).
• Good knowledge of corporate actions, pricing, NAV components, and trade lifecycle.
• Proficiency in Excel; exposure to SQL, VBA, or automation tools is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹900,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
