Senior Investment Analyst

The ideal candidate should have the ability to undertake rigorous research, gather information from various sources, and prepare high-quality research reports. You will be responsible for conducting interviews with portfolio managers and senior members of third-party asset management firms, both virtually and on-site. Collaboration in a multi-cultural team is essential, engaging in idea-sharing and constructive debates to articulate investment convictions effectively. Keeping abreast of developments in different asset classes, markets, and the economy is crucial. You will be required to interact with internal stakeholders to discuss these developments. Additionally, tasks involve performing attribution and style analysis, competitive research, and portfolio analysis. Collaborating with various stakeholders from both business and technology backgrounds is necessary, and the ability to contribute to ad-hoc projects is valued. As an integral team member, you are expected to actively participate in investment committee debates and discussions, expressing your views on the economy, asset classes, and portfolios under your coverage. Educational Qualification: - MBA in Finance or equivalent Post Graduation with a specialization in Finance. Added Advantage: - Holding CFA/CAIA charters or being a program candidate with one or more levels completed. - Academic projects related to mutual funds, equity research, or portfolio management. - Proficiency in data analytics using MS Excel and prior experience with databases like Morningstar Direct. Experience: - 3-5 years of Investment Research experience in Equity markets at the fund research or asset class level as a Senior Investment Analyst. - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with US fund managers and internal stakeholders. - Demonstrated proficiency in writing, preferably with academic experience in research and investment report writing.,
