Job Description: Inside Sales Manager – EdTech (Microdegree / Skill Tech)Position: Inside Sales Manager Department: Sales Location: Jayanagar Experience: 4–8 years (Minimum 4+ years in EdTech / Skill-Tech mandatory) Industry: EdTech / Skill Development / Microdegree Programs Salary: As per industry standards About the Company We are a rapidly growing EdTech company offering microdegree programs, upskilling courses, and career-oriented Skill-Tech programs designed to help learners accelerate their careers in technology and professional fields. We are looking for a strong Inside Sales Manager to lead and mentor our sales team and drive admissions growth. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Management Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Career Counsellors. Monitor team performance through KPIs, daily metrics, and targets. Conduct regular sales training, call audits, and performance reviews. Motivate the team to consistently achieve monthly revenue and enrollment targets. Sales Strategy & Execution ,Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue for microdegree and skill-tech programs. Manage lead flow, lead allocation, and ensure timely follow-ups. Optimize conversion rates across all stages: lead → demo → follow-up → enrollment. Work closely with the marketing team for improving lead quality and lead nurturing. Revenue Management Own the monthly and quarterly sales targets and ensure the team meets them. Forecast revenue numbers and provide accurate weekly/monthly reports. Track sales funnel metrics and identify improvement areas. Customer Interaction & Communication Handle escalations related to admissions, fee structure, or counselling. Maintain high standards of customer experience during counseling calls. Understand customer needs and guide them towards suitable programs. Process Improvement Implement sales SOPs and best practices across the team. Streamline the admissions process to reduce TAT and improve conversions. Work with cross-functional teams (Product, Marketing, Academics) to upgrade offerings based on market trends. Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree; MBA in Sales/Marketing is an added advantage. 4+ years mandatory experience in EdTech / Skill-Tech / Microdegree sales. Strong knowledge of selling IT courses, skill development programs, or micro-certifications. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Proven team management and revenue ownership experience. Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. Experience with CRM tool is preferred.
