Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Talent Acquisition & Planning:

    Identify recruitment sources, conduct interviews, and coordinate with departments to select and appoint candidates, including senior-level management.
  • Statutory Compliance & Governance:

    Ensure complete monitoring and enforcement of all regulatory requirements (Factories Act, Apprentice Act, etc.). Handle the signing and submission of documents related to

    ESI, PF, and the Factory Act

  • Compensation & Benefits Administration:

    Execute accurate

    salary, bonus, PF/ESI/gratuity calculations

    , and manage daily attendance updates and food coupon distribution.
  • Training & Development (L&D):

    Approve, plan, and execute training programmes (TNI, skill up-gradation) and arrange training sessions to enhance departmental quality and track all related documentation (e.g., skill matrix, history cards).
  • Employee Relations & Discipline:

    Enforce organisational rules and regulations. Handle resignations and serve as custodian of records. Take decisions related to

    discipline, uniforms, loans, and benefits

  • Performance & Document Management:

    Monitor employee performance appraisals, prepare increments, and get management sign-off on all critical employee documents (appointment letters, leave cards, suspension letters, and QMS documents).
  • External Relations & Litigation:

    Interact with all government officials and represent the organisation in legal litigations.

Experience:

  • Experience of a minimum of 5-10 years in the manufacturing industry.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or law. A master's degree (MBA/PGDM in HR) is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in HR, with at least 2 years covering both operational payroll/compliance and supervisory/managerial functions.
  • Proven expertise and knowledge of local labour laws

    (Factory Act, PF, ESI, Gratuity)
