Job Title: Sr. Hardware Engineer

Experience: 4–6 Years  

Location: Ahmedabad

Job Summary:  

We are seeking a skilled Sr. Hardware Engineer with strong experience in RF, audio, and  

Bluetooth product design. You will lead hardware development for NPI (New Product Introduction) 

projects, focusing on schematic design, PCB layout, system validation, and production 

readiness, while working cross-functionally with global and local teams.  


Key Responsibilities:  

● NPI Hardware Design: Lead or contribute to NPI projects including schematic design, high

speed/RF PCB layout, BOM creation, prototyping, and debugging.  

● Design Execution: Own full hardware design cycle – schematic, layout , and 

validation. Including Flex and Rigid-Flex designs – ensuring signal integrity and 

manufacturability.  

● Production Readiness: Ensure hardware is ready for mass production, including BOM 

finalization, DFM, DFT, yield optimization, and close collaboration with suppliers.  

● Testing & Validation: Perform and oversee bench-level testing, debugging, validation, and 

root-cause analysis.  

● DFM & Compliance: Ensure all hardware is designed with DFM/DFT principles, EMI/EMC 

compliance, and production ramp-up readiness.  

● Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate with mechanical (SolidWorks), firmware, and 

production teams for enclosure integration, system fit, and manufacturability.  

● Documentation: Generate all technical documents including schematics, BOMs, test 

reports, layout notes, and compliance summaries.  

● Mentorship: Guide junior engineers or interns in basic tasks, layout techniques, and testing 

practices.  

● Innovation: Stay up to date with RF, Bluetooth, and audio hardware trends and propose 

value-added improvements.  


Must-Have Skills:  

● Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or equivalent.  

● 4–6 years of experience in hardware design for embedded or consumer electronics.  

● Schematic design and strong PCB layout experience for high-speed and RF circuits.  

● Proficient in EDA tools: Altium, Cadence,KiCAD  

● Experience with RF (BLE, Wi-Fi, Sub-GHz), Audio analog front ends, and Bluetooth 

Classic/LE modules.  

● Sound knowledge of DFM, EMI/EMC design, and PCB manufacturing process.  

● Comfortable with SolidWorks or 3D CAD tools for enclosure/mechanical coordination.  

● Conduct board bring-up, hardware validation, and debugging using lab tools 

(oscilloscope, logic analyzer, VNA, etc.).  


Bonus/Preferred Skills:  

● Exposure to RF simulation tools like CST, ADS, or Microwave Office.  

● Familiarity with compliance and certification standards (FCC, CE, etc.).  

● Experience working in NPI or fast-paced product development environments.  

● Understanding of firmware-hardware co-design.
