You are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Oracle Fusion Tax and Vertex Support Specialist to join the Finance IT team at onsemi, located in India, Bangalore. In this role, you will be responsible for providing functional and technical support for Oracle Fusion Tax and Vertex integration. Your primary focus will be on ensuring accurate tax configuration, compliance, and reporting across enterprise systems. As an Oracle Fusion Tax and Vertex Support Specialist, your key responsibilities will include managing the integration of Oracle Fusion Tax and Vertex, configuring and maintaining tax rules, jurisdictions, and rates in Oracle Fusion, providing support and enhancements for Oracle Fusion finance modules, troubleshooting and resolving tax calculation issues, collaborating with various teams to ensure tax compliance, supporting tax reporting and audit requirements, assisting in system upgrades, patches, and testing, documenting processes and configurations, and training end-users on tax-related system functionality. To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field, along with at least 3 years of experience with Oracle Fusion Tax and Vertex. You should possess a strong understanding of indirect tax concepts such as sales/use tax and VAT, experience with tax automation and integration between Oracle and Vertex, excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, strong communication and documentation abilities, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities. Preferred qualifications for this role include experience with Oracle Cloud ERP implementations, knowledge of global tax compliance requirements, and familiarity with other Oracle modules such as AP, AR, and Procurement.
