Description
As a Senior Hardware Engineer at onsemi, you will be responsible for designing evaluation, reference, and interface boards to meet the hardware needs of the internal software and Frontend team. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing evaluation, reference, and interface boards - Providing technical support during Design, Bring-up, and follow-on support - Collaborating closely with ONs internal Design team to troubleshoot reference and evaluation systems - Supporting chip bring-up and validation - Validating hardware designs using Signal integrity tools like Hyperlynx / Sigrity - Optionally validating IP developed by the Digital Design team - Assisting PCB layout engineers with PCB layout guidelines and reviews - Demonstrating good knowledge of Cadence Allegro and Orcad tools You will play a crucial role in designing and delivering high-speed test hardware systems and solutions for onsemi sensors, providing bring-up support for ONs Product Engineering, Software, and Frontend team. Requirements: - Bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering - Minimum of 10 years experience in Hardware system design, mobile device system applications, or cameras - Experience with Multimedia Processors and Image Signal Processors - Worked on mixed signal integrated circuits/devices, high-speed digital designs, and high-speed serial interfaces - Understanding of Image and video fundamentals - Knowledge of digital camera design and solid-stage sensors - Capable of handling issues independently and expert in handling test equipment - Expertise in Schematic capture (OrCAD) and basic knowledge of Allegro layout - Familiarity with software development tools, environment, and debuggers - Excellent organizational skills and self-starter attitude - Familiarity with python programming is an added advantage,
