Designer, Cadence Allegro, KiCad, etc.).

  • Optimize routing for signal integrity, power integrity, and thermal management.
  • Apply best practices in component placement, layer stack-up, via design, routing topology

and design for manufacturability (DFM).

  • Work closely with fabrication and assembly vendors to resolve any production issues and

optimize the process

  • Review and implement design rules and constraints based on IPC standards and

mechanical requirements.

  • Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of layout

processes and standards.

  • Own the entire PCB design lifecycle from schematic handoff to manufacturing release.
  • Ensure designs meet DFM, DFT, and EMC/EMI standards, and drive continuous

improvement in layout practices.

  • Provide peer reviews, mentor junior PCB designers, and maintain design guidelines and

libraries.

  • Participate in cross-functional design reviews, bring-up, and validation of prototypes.

experience

  • M.E./M.Tech. in Power Electronics and Drives/ Electrical Engg or equivalent with 4+ years’

experience

Desirable Extras

  • Experience in design and development of mixed signal boards, high-density and high-speed

PCB designs (e.g., DDR, USB 3.0, Ethernet, PCIe).

  • Knowledge of signal integrity tools (e.g., HyperLynx, SIwave).
  • Familiarity with EMC/EMI considerations in layout.
  • Experience with rigid-flex or HDI PCB design.
  • Understanding of thermal and mechanical constraints in layout.
