Role Overview

Senior Google Ads Specialist

You'll play a pivotal role in driving qualified leads, reducing CAC, and improving conversion rates through full-funnel ad strategies tailored to fitness coaches, personal trainers, and gym owners.

Key Responsibilities

🧠 Strategy & Planning

• Design performance-focused Google Ads strategies to generate high-quality leads for FitBudd’s SaaS product.
• Map out customer journeys (from awareness to demo booked) and align campaigns accordingly.
• Identify and segment audiences: independent coaches, CrossFit trainers, yoga instructors, gym owners, etc.

🎯 Campaign Management

• Launch and manage Search, Display, YouTube, and AI Max campaigns.
• Regularly optimize bids, budgets, ad copy, assets, and targeting based on performance data.
• Stay on top of changes in Google Ads, including AI-powered bidding and keyword strategies.

📊 Analytics & Reporting

• Track, measure, and report on KPIs like CPL, MQLs, CAC, and ROAS using GA4, GTM, and Looker Studio.
• Set up and troubleshoot conversion tracking across web and app (demo signups, installs, in-app actions).
• Analyze performance by market and persona to drive geo-targeted optimizations.

🤝 Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with the sales, product marketing, and lifecycle teams to align messaging and CTAs across the funnel.
• Partner with the creative team to brief and test new ad copy, video scripts, and banners.
• Collaborate with CRO and landing page teams to test and improve conversion rates.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of hands-on experience managing Google Ads for lead-gen or SaaS (preferably B2B).
• Demonstrated success in scaling campaigns with monthly budgets of $50K+
• Strong command of full-funnel paid search strategies, YouTube for action, and Performance Max.
• Deep understanding of fitness or wellness verticals—targeting personal trainers, studios, or coaches is a huge plus.
• Proficient with GA4, Google Tag Manager, and conversion tracking (including event-level tracking).
• Strong analytical mindset with experience using Looker Studio or other BI tools.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills - comfortable presenting strategy and results to leadership.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience running campaigns targeting international fitness audiences (especially US, UK, and Australia).
• Familiarity with in-app user conversion tracking and MMPs (e.g., Firebase, branch).
• Understanding of sales funnel metrics (MQL, SQL, demo to close) and how to align ads accordingly.
• Creative instincts for testing hooks and copy relevant to fitness entrepreneurs.
