About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior Functional Consultant with deep domain expertise in

Fleet Management systems and modules within ERP or enterprise platforms. The

ideal candidate should have experience working with fleet operations,

maintenance, asset lifecycle, fuel management, route planning, and

compliance tracking across manufacturing, logistics, or transport-heavy industries.

Key Responsibilities:

 Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of Fleet Management

modules in ERP or dedicated fleet systems.

 Work closely with operations and transport/logistics teams to gather and

analyze business requirements.

 Translate fleet operations needs into functional specifications and system

configurations.

 Support end-to-end processes including vehicle lifecycle management,

maintenance scheduling, fuel tracking, driver allocation, and compliance

reporting.

 Collaborate with technical teams for system integrations (e.g., GPS,

telematics, fuel cards).

 Conduct user training, prepare documentation, and lead UAT sessions.

 Monitor system performance post-implementation and support continuous

improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

 8–12 years of functional consulting experience, with at least 5+ years in

Fleet Management domain.

 Experience with ERP systems/modules like:

o SAP Fleet Management, Oracle EAM, Infor EAM, Trimble, Fleet

Complete, or custom fleet solutions.

 Deep knowledge of:

o Fleet asset lifecycle

o Preventive maintenance planning

o Fuel consumption tracking

o Route optimization

o Regulatory compliance & inspections

 Strong business process mapping, documentation, and stakeholder

management skills.

 Ability to work cross-functionally with operations, IT, finance, and vendor

teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

 ERP or Fleet Management software certifications.

 Experience in manufacturing, logistics, or large fleet-intensive operations.

 Understanding of integration with GPS/IoT/Telematics platforms.

 Exposure to analytics/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for fleet KPIs.
