Role Summary

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining highly scalable, secure, and performant web applications. You will work across Next.js (React) on the frontend, Spring Boot microservices and PostgreSQL databases on the backend, ensuring seamless integrations and an exceptional user experience.

Senior engineers are technical leaders who drive architectural decisions, mentor junior engineers, and continuously improve our engineering practices. They play a crucial role in translating business requirements into detailed technical plans, leading Agile Scrum forums, and ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, and efficient.

Responsibilities

● Design and develop engaging, high-performance frontend applications using Next.js, React, TypeScript, and SCSS for a seamless user experience across devices.

● Build and maintain RESTful APIs that power key marketplace functionalities, including order fulfillment and product catalog management.

● Develop and optimize Spring Boot microservices to ensure high availability, performance, and scalability.

● Model relational data effectively and write optimized SQL queries for PostgreSQL.

● Implement security best practices, including authentication, authorization, and data protection strategies.

● Provide technical leadership in code reviews, architectural discussions, and best engineering practices.

● Lead and participate in Agile Scrum processes, ensuring high-velocity and high-quality deliverables.

● Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions.

● Mentor and coach junior engineers to help them grow in their technical careers.

● Continuously evaluate and implement new tools, frameworks, and best practices to improve development speed and maintainability.

● Maintain comprehensive code documentation and ensure adherence to coding standards.

● Collaborate with DevOps teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud infrastructure.

Qualifications

● 12+ years of professional experience in Next.js, React, TypeScript, Redux, and SCSS.

● 12+ years of experience in Java (preferably Java 11+), Spring Boot, Hibernate, JPA, and Maven.

● Strong experience with PostgreSQL and relational database design.

● Strong proficiency in Git for version control and collaborative development.

● Familiarity with CI/CD workflows to support smooth deployment processes.

● Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment and leading sprint-based development efforts.

● Experience with Kubernetes & Docker for containerized applications.

Preferred Qualifications

● Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or OpenShift. Azure preferred.

● Experience with Redis, Memcached, or DataGrid for caching and performance optimization.

● Knowledge of JBoss or similar application servers.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹2,000,000.00 - ₹3,500,000.00 per year
