In this leadership role, you are an internal technical master at the line level who ensures the line team is performing at a level that sustains and improves business results on one or more of 6 stars model. You model priority setting, manage the plan-do-check- adjust cycle and provide coaching and training for your team.

How You Will Contribute

You are a key ingredient in helping us change how the world snacks. You will operate and maintain equipment to build technical mastery and to deliver on safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability and morale targets, understanding losses in your area and taking the appropriate action to eliminate them. You will use autonomous and progressive maintenance standards to maintain equipment and support new product development. In this role, you will ensure that safety processes are observed [e.g. safety maps, lock out tag out (LOTO) , behavior observation system (BOS) and root-cause analysis (RCA)], that quality assurance activities are performed to ensure zero harm and 100 percent good-quality products, and that resources are properly allocated and available during the shift. You will take the lead for shutdown maintenance, root-cause analysis, stops reductions loss analysis and breakdown elimination.

  • Autonomous maintenance (AM) Step 4 systems and progressive maintenance (PM) Step 3 systems
  • Maintaining equipment at basic conditions independently, including the execution of AM & PM (break-down maintenance, planned maintenance) standards on dedicated equipment
  • Total productive maintenance and Six Sigma including qualification of AM steps 5-6, and PM step 3
  • Leading line teams
  • Handling challenging interpersonal situations tactfully
  • Influencing people in a union environment
  • Communicating effectively verbally and in writing and good attention to detail

The purpose of this job is to coordinate manufacturing operations to deliver SQCDSM agenda of the site during shift operations. The purpose is to deliver planned production targets while ensuring compliance with Safety standards, with the right product quality and at optimum cost.

Education / Certifications:

The job requires basic knowledge of Engineering (Mechanical / Electronics & Instrumentation /Electrical / Degree in Engineering) as applied to manufacturing operations in food processing, chemical, electrical, and mechanical operations.A desirable blend of experience for 5-8 Years in a Production role. Should have considerable experience in Manufacturing Shift operations, anchoring process improvements, production and capacity planning and line de-bottlenecking and active contribution in Food Safety management systems.Person Profile:Assertiveness / Adaptability / Accountability Team Working Skills. Working knowledge of manufacturing site processes/systems. Good interpersonal effectiveness and communication skills. Analytical approach with good skill in problem solving. Persuasiveness.

Quality:

  • Adhere with Mondelez Quality Policy & GMP standards at lines
  • Maintaining Plant Process consistency and control and ensuring timely closure
  • Maintaining GMP across lines and enforcing the right standards across the SFC group
  • Drive HACCP & prerequisite standards across manufacturing lines
  • Drive projects and action plans to Reduce Consumer Complaints
  • Enforce Food Safety & Quality Standards
  • Establish and implement Rules & Procedures as relevant
  • Have adequate Food Safety Knowledge covering the Work Area

EHS / Compliance

  • Implementation of Relevant Global EHS Standards at the line
  • Strict Adherence to Priority standards at the lines
  • Maintain the right safe culture at the shopfloor
  • Risk Assessments closure
  • Environmental KPIs monitoring and gaps closure for optimum closure
  • Embed safe behaviour on the shop floor

Cost

  • Anchoring the delivery of Material Yield and Cost yield of Production lines
  • Waste Mapping and closure on gaps
  • MCC (Manufacturing Control Cost) Reduction Initiatives – Ideation and Implementation
  • Maintaining SAP Hygiene in transactions

Delivery / Logistics/IL6S

  • Monthly Production Planning adherence to standards during shift operations
  • Plan capacity optimum utilisation
  • Anchor Projects for improving GE (Global Efficiency) with the implementation of Right IL6S standards
  • Material Planning as per the plan and subsequent actions
  • Driving Zero Loss Mindset among SFCs at Ground and building the right direction setting of Loss linkage with Standards plan to improve reliability
  • Facilitating the Management Review of production line Performance every month.
  • Drive the SGA agenda at the site
  • Active Participation in Site DMS and providing the right direction setting

Morale and People

  • Production Line Staff and Team Members Training needs identification and Training Calendar development
  • Deliver Quarterly Training and Refreshers to the production team on Standards on Quality, Process and EHS.
  • Capability to handle unionised employees and ER situations

Reports (Generation, Circulation and Analysis)

  • Daily Plant Performance KPIs and MIS
  • Weekly Enhancements on Material Usage Variance
  • RM Test reports
  • FG Test reports
  • EHS Portal Update
  • SAP – Inbound, Production and Outbound (RM/PM/FG)
  • Periodic Quality KPIs Performance Report
