About the team:

Cleartrip is disrupting the way India travels. We need someone for core accounting and reconciliation in our Non Category team in Cleartrip Finance operation where there is a high focus on Impact and Ownership which allows for freedom to experiment and innovate.


About the role:

1. Excellent working knowledge of Excel and Word

2. Should have prior experience in accounting of a medium to large scale organization in e-commerce/Travel Industry

3. Should have thorough understanding of the entire P2P Process.

4. Good eye for detail with business acumen and strong analytical skills.

5. Should have strong follow up capability and analytical skills.

6. Member of the business team, responsible for ensuring compliance to accounting policies of the company and applicable accounting standard framework in tracking and monitoring of Vendor payments

7. Developing, implementing and maintaining systems, procedures and policies, including accounts payable functions to ensure adherence to company guidelines.

8. Assisting in the Finalization of the Cost of goods/Services purchased category wise along with necessary variance analytics

9. Monthly Financial reporting for AP including book closure/Accruals.

10. Streamlining complete flow of Processing to payment and resolving issues/ escalations on timely manner to foster vendor relationships.

11. Handing Internal Audit, Statutory Audit, SOX audit and ICOFR compliance etc.


To succeed in this role – you should have the following

1. Accounting knowledge: Understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and accounting software.

2. AP software proficiency: Familiarity with AP automation tools, such as invoice processing software, payment platforms, and ERP systems.

3. Microsoft Office skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

4. Analytical skills: Ability to analyze data, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues.

5. Attention to detail: Accuracy and attention to detail in processing invoices, payments, and other financial transactions.

6. Organizational skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.

7. Communication skills: Effective communication with vendors, colleagues, and management to resolve issues and provide information.
