Position Overview

Equity Research Analyst

Key Responsibilities

1. Equity Research & Analysis

• Conduct

  in-depth fundamental research

  on public companies, sectors, and themes across global and domestic markets.
• Build and maintain

  comprehensive financial models

  — P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and relative valuation models.
• Evaluate business fundamentals, management quality, and competitive positioning to generate investment ideas.
• Prepare detailed

  investment notes, thematic reports, and presentations

  for internal and client discussions.

2. Market & Sector Tracking

• Track

  macroeconomic indicators, sectoral developments, and earnings trends

  to identify actionable insights.
• Maintain coverage lists and monitor quarterly results, management commentary, and sector performance.
• Integrate global and domestic macro developments into stock-level investment rationales.

3. Portfolio Support & Execution Insight

• Collaborate with portfolio managers and strategists to support stock selection and asset allocation decisions.
• Contribute to the firm’s

  multi-asset research discussions

  and assist in performance attribution analysis.
• Support the investment desk with

  timely market intelligence

  and execution alignment.

4. Research Communication

• Prepare

  professional-quality reports

  summarizing findings and recommendations.
• Communicate clearly with internal stakeholders, ensuring investment theses are backed by solid quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Present insights in research meetings and client strategy sessions.

Candidate Profile

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Commerce (mandatory)

• MBA in Finance, CFA (Level II/III)

  preferred

Experience:

• ~3 years of relevant experience

  in

  equity research, investment analysis, or capital markets

  .
• Demonstrated experience in

  fundamental equity research

  .
• Prior experience in a

  PMS, AIF, or institutional buy-side/sell-side environment

  is preferred.

Skills Required:

• Strong grasp of

  financial statements, valuation methods, and earnings modeling

  .
• Excellent analytical, writing, and presentation skills.

• Advanced Excel

  and familiarity with Bloomberg / Refinitiv / Capital IQ.
• Deep interest in global macroeconomics and its impact on equities.
• Highly detail-oriented with strong intellectual curiosity and the ability to work independently.
