Join Valuewise Advisory LLP, a fast-growing Category-III Alternative Investment Fund (Cat-III AIF) focused on uncovering high-conviction, under-researched investment opportunities. We're looking for a sharp and driven Senior Equity Research Analyst to support our investment decision-making through rigorous analysis and insightful research.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct fundamental analysis of listed and unlisted Indian equities

Prepare detailed investment memos, industry reports, and financial models

Track portfolio companies and sector developments regularly

Support fund manager with data analysis, back-testing, and research automation

Attend analyst calls, conferences, and earnings meetings

Monitor macroeconomic and regulatory developments impacting the fund

Maintain organized records of research, models, and investment rationales

Prepare investment factsheets and monthly investor presentations

Skills Required:

Strong knowledge of equity research and financial modeling

Solid grasp of valuation techniques (DCF, relative valuation, etc.)

Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases (Bloomberg, Screener, ACE equity, etc.)

Ability to expedite investment research via AI tools such as Notebook LM, Claude, ChatGPT, etc

Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights

Excellent written and verbal communication

Highly detail-oriented and self-motivated

Ability to work in a stressful and ambiguous work environment

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, Accounting, or a related field

Candidates who have completed CFA, CA, CWA or MBA in Finance will be preferred.
