Job description: Sr. Engineer NVH Location: Yelahanka, Bangalore Experience 5+years You Will The primary focus is on Testing Electric vehicle and components/subsystem to ensure it meets the program requirements. This role involves design supportive studies and plan preparations before executing the task Execute tests as per predefined test cases/ design validation plan. Perform data acquisition, data post processing, failure analysis, counter measures & report making/ presentation. Benchmarking, upgrading standards and acceptance criteria. Execute new test methods, failure simulation & equipment development To Be Successful, You Will Be Expected To NVH Tests in the Vehicle Level, Sub-System Level, Target Setting, Assessment and Validation Using Global OEM Standards/Processes. Provide effective front-loading solutions based on the past product experience. Product expertise and experience with vehicle/system level performance testing and NVH refinement. Test schedule, execution, and preparation of test report Equipment calibration, maintenance. Fixture design and validation. Should be able to perform on-road data collection, shaker testing profile generation and perform shaker testing. Homologation support of the new vehicle launches. You must have any or a combination of any of the following skills: BE Mechanical/Equivalent graduate degree 5+ Years of experience Must have experience in using LMS/Simcenter TestLab. Or any other equivalent tool knowledge. Experience with OEM/automotive and EV background is added advantage. Should be proficient in FFT, PSD, Octave analysis, Modal analysis, ODS, pass by noise test, Sound power measurements, FRF analysis. Proficiency in Microsoft tools like Word, Excel, Presentation, Mail etc. Should be able to learn and understand program demands and timelines Good in writing and speaking in a professional attire Must be a good team player with strong interpersonal skills. Strong and effective oral and written communication skills. Stay highly motivated in a complex business environment. Ability to take lead in demanding situations to help achieve organizational and program goals. Able to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.
