Job Title: Senior Associate, Editorial and Community Relationships
● The ability to appropriately prioritise members of our community.
● A strong grasp of content quality and the ability to appropriately curate contributions.
● The ability to organise and align contributions with our content strategy.
○ Design and execute a strategy for the sourcing and placement of contributed content, aligned with overarching Editorial content strategy, target audience, and People Matters goals.
○ Curate contributed content for clarity, accuracy, structure and tone.
○ Stay informed about the latest trends, challenges, and innovations in business and HR to ensure that contributed content is engaging, comprehensive and insightful.
○ Write high quality content for publication on People Matters website under own byline.
○ Review and appropriately edit content contributed by our community, elevating its quality where possible to support the image and credibility of contributors and People Matters.
○ Build, maintain, and grow relationships with contributors from our community including industry experts, top influencers and thought leaders.
○ Create for community contributors a welcoming, meaningful experience that can be deepened for further engagement.
○ Drive community impact and revenue enablement through the development of contributions into a content IP.
○ Regularly analyse contributed content performance metrics to refine content strategy.
○ Use contributor and audience insights to guide content strategy and align with community needs and reader preferences.
● Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Mass Communication, or a relevant field (Business Administration or Business Management may be a possibility)
● 3-5 years of proven work experience in journalism, corporate communication, public relations, or content marketing (Exposure in HR is an added advantage)
● Business-quality verbal and written communication skills in English - non-negotiable requirement. Candidates must be able to write without using generative AI, and ideally be able to identify and correct genAI content.
● Awareness of business and industry trends (Knowledge of HR, talent and technology trends is an advantage)
● Ability to engagingly communicate with senior executives and their representatives
