Job Description

As a DevOps Engineer at Moving Walls, you will be an integral part of our dynamic and collaborative team, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and automated processes. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience in DevOps practices, a strong technical background, and a passion for optimizing and automating software development workflows.

Responsibilities

Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure using IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Build, configure, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, integration, and deployment processes.
Configuration Management: Manage and automate configuration using tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef to ensure consistency and reliability across environments.
Cloud Services: Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud to deploy, monitor, and scale applications.
Containerization and Orchestration: Implement and maintain containerization platforms (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes) for scalable and efficient application deployment.
Monitoring and Logging: Set up and maintain monitoring and logging solutions to proactively identify and address performance issues.
Security and Compliance: Collaborate with security teams to implement and enforce security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with development, operations, and QA teams to streamline communication and collaboration, fostering a DevOps culture.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Kubernetes and Terraform.
Experienced in GitlabCl, ArgoCD, and Jenkins.
Min 5 years of experience in AWS Cloud. Would prefer if additionally experienced in GCP and Azure.
Proficiency in scripting languages (e. g., Bash, Python, or Ruby).
Experience with version control systems (e. g., Git).
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
