Full Stack Software Engineer – React/TypeScript/NodeJS (GCP Integration), Chennai/Pune - (Hybrid), IndiaR25_0016112|IN
We are looking for a talented and pragmatic Full Stack Software Engineer to join our data engineering team. The team primarily focuses on building serverless data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and we are now expanding our capabilities to include a market configuration application that interfaces with these pipelines. This application is built using
React and TypeScript, and integrates with BigQuery and CloudSQL on the backend.
The ideal candidate will be a strong developer across the board with a solid understanding of modern application architecture including API development, and comfortable working with data specialists. You’ll play a role in shaping the operations user experience and ensuring seamless integration between the UI and our data infrastructure.
- Proven experience building and maintaining production-grade applications
- Strong TypeScript skills and understanding of component-based architecture
- Strong experience developing APIs and handling data from cloud-based sources
- Proven experience with cloud-native development - GCP services is a plus (Serverless and Kubernetes)
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, AGILE environment (Kanban/Scrum)
- Strong communication skills and a pragmatic, problem-solving mindset
Qualifications
- Frontend: React, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS/SCSS
- Backend Integration: REST APIs (Node.js), BigQuery, SQL (Postgres or similar)
- Cloud Platform: Google Cloud Platform (or AWS / Azure) including Kubernetes, Pub/Sub, Workflows, Serverless
- Tooling: Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, VS Code
- Testing: Jest, React Testing Library, Postman (or similar), Cypress
Nice to Have
- Python: You will also be required to help with other tasks within the pipeline team which encompasses containerised applications written in Python and interacting with SQL
- Experience with performance optimization of applications and database queries
- Understanding of authentication/authorization flows (OAuth)
