We are seeking a highly analytical and data-driven
Senior Data Analyst
to be a core member of our Growth Marketing & Business team. This role is pivotal in leveraging data to understand customer behavior, optimize marketing initiatives, and drive overall business growth. You will be instrumental in analyzing campaign performance, uncovering actionable insights, identifying growth opportunities, and bridging the gap between marketing actions and measurable business impact, directly contributing to the activation of dormant users and the reactivation of new and repeat customers.
Key Responsibilities
Growth Campaign Performance Analysis
- Analyze the performance of growth campaigns across all channels including Email, SMS, Push notifications, In-app interventions/pop-ups, and WhatsApp
- Identify which campaigns and channels are effectively contributing to our goals of activating dormant users and reactivating new/repeat customers, and which are not
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for the Growth and Marketing teams
Data Visualization & Reporting
- Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards using BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) to provide real-time visibility into key growth metrics and campaign performance
- Develop structured reports on segment health, strategy impact, and improvement areas for senior stakeholders
Growth Opportunity & User Journey Optimization
- Proactively identify untapped growth opportunities within our customer base and marketing funnels
- Pinpoint friction points in the customer journey and propose data-backed solutions to reduce friction and improve user experience and conversion rates
- Conduct A/B tests and other experiments to optimize campaign effectiveness, user journeys, and product features
Business Insight & Strategic Alignment
- Forecast key growth trends and anticipate future performance
- Bridge the gap between marketing actions and overall business outcomes, demonstrating the direct impact of growth initiatives on revenue and other core business metrics
- Conduct in-depth business analysis to solve complex business problems, identify root causes, and propose data-driven solutions
Cross-functional Collaboration & Communication
- Collaborate closely with the Marketing Team and Business Team to ensure data insights inform strategic decisions and operational improvements
- Effectively communicate complex analytical findings and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders through compelling presentations and reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or a related discipline
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in a Data Analytics role, with a preference for experience in growth marketing, e-commerce, or a similar consumer-focused industry
- Proficiency in SQL for complex data querying, extraction, and manipulation
- Strong programming skills in Python or R for data analysis, statistical modeling, and automation
- Hands-on experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker for dashboard creation and data visualization
- Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for data manipulation and analysis
- Familiarity with marketing analytics platforms (e.g., Moengage, Mixpanel, Gamooga, Google Analytics)
- Solid understanding of statistical analysis and data modeling concepts
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
