The Role

Marketing Data Analyst/Scientist

This role is perfect for someone who is not just strong in analytics but also commercially minded—able to spot opportunities in user journeys, channel performance, and campaign data to drive measurable business growth.


Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyse, and interpret marketing data across all channels, including paid, owned, affiliate, organic and direct – web and app.
  • Build dashboards and reports in GA4, Looker Studio, Power Bi or similar tools to monitor KPIs (ROI, CPA, CLV, conversion rates, etc.).
  • Analyse user journeys and on-site behaviour to provide recommendations for CRO (conversion rate optimisation).
  • Partner with channel heads to deliver insights that improve campaign efficiency and budget allocation.
  • Deliver forward-looking recommendations, forecasting trends, and identifying new growth opportunities.
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across multiple systems and sources.
  • Present findings clearly to marketing and leadership teams, turning complex data into actionable strategies.


Skills & Experience

  • 5 years of experience in marketing analytics, preferably in B2C, e-commerce, or travel sectors.
  • Deep expertise in

    Google Analytics 4 (GA4)

    , Google Tag Manager, and marketing attribution models.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualisation tools (e.g., Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Strong understanding of marketing KPIs across performance and retention channels.
  • Experience with A/B testing methodologies and CRO analysis.
  • Commercial mindset with proven ability to link data insights to business outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills—able to simplify complex data for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Interest or experience in applying emerging AI technologies to marketing analytics—such as predictive modelling, automated insights, or generative AI use cases—to enhance decision-making and performance.
