Senior Data Analyst

Role & responsibilities

• Prepare data analysis reports
• Perform and prepare data modeling document/ report deliverables (Conceptual/Logical/Physical model) for utility domain (Electric/ Water/Telecom/Pipeline/Sewer..)
• Knowledge/hands-on in UML modeling using software like Enterprise Architect.
• Data mapping documents/reports for GIS data migration
• Prepare CAD templates for data collection and migration to GIS
• Development of Data conversion/migration specifications
• Define clear requirements to ETL experts for developing automated tools
• ArcFM configurations including feeder manager, ArcFM favorites and QA/QC rules
• ESRI Utility Network configurations including subnetwork creation and building container/containment, propagations and schematics associations
• Configure Topology rules in ESRI/ArcFM/UN and execute data validation
• Raster and vector analysis reports
• Perform data analysis/update using geoprocessing tools

• Must have minimum 5+ yrs. of experience in GIS
• Should have good communication skills

Should have knowledge of utility domain and data models (ESRI,

• ArcFM and Utility Network)

• Hands-on experience in ArcGIS Pro, ArcFM software
• Understands the complete process lifecycle in data migration projects for utility GIS domain including requirements, data analysis, modeling, conversion/migration tasks
• Well versed with data mapping and data migration methodologies using ESRI and ArcFM software and tools
• Should have experience in analyzing and executing data modeling design (feature class, sub types, associations, relationships etc.)
• Good experience in data analysis and identify the issues in the data
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently with minimal support and supervision
• Working Experience in utility projects, electric domain preferable
• Working Experience in Oil & Gas Pipeline and knowledge in PODS/APDM/UPDM models is preferable
• Working Experience/ knowledge in GE Smallworld and Intergraph G/Technology
• Good understanding of lifecycle of data conversion/digitization projects
• Good understanding of topology and data validation
• Good knowledge in Landbase/parcel mapping
• Base knowledge in RDBMS and Sql
• Hans-on in developing FME workbenches/certification in FME is an added advantage.
• Knowledge in BIM is also an added advantage.
