As a Senior Cyber Operations Analyst - Cyber Threat Hunting at Barclays, your role involves supporting the successful delivery of Location Strategy projects to plan, budget, agreed quality, and governance standards. You will spearhead the evolution of the digital landscape, driving innovation and excellence to revolutionize digital offerings for unparalleled customer experiences. **Key Responsibilities:** - Manage security monitoring systems, including intrusive prevention and detection systems, to alert, detect, and block potential cyber security incidents. - Identify emerging cyber security threats, attack techniques, and technologies to detect/prevent incidents, collaborate with networks, and gain industry knowledge. - Analyze security information and event management systems to collect, correlate, and analyze security logs, events, and alerts. - Triage data loss prevention alerts to prevent sensitive data from being exfiltrated from the bank's network. - Manage cyber security incidents, including remediation and driving to closure. **Qualifications Required:** - Strong analytic skills. - Strong experience in cyber security, especially in threat hunting or incident response. - Good knowledge of security toolsets. - Prior experience with scripting languages & proficiency in data analysis. - Excellent inter-personal skills with experience of briefing, de-briefing, and presenting to senior executives. - Effective communication skills, both orally and in writing. - Excellent time management and planning skills with experience working under pressure. - Ability to remain organized and prioritize multiple incident priorities. - Highest standards of personal integrity, professional conduct, and ethics. - Incident, problem, and change management skills.
