This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead and manage cost consultancy services across high-profile civil projects. 🔧 Key Responsibilities – Pre-Contract Phase 1. Leading cost planning, benchmarking, and feasibility studies for large-scale projects. 2. Overseeing the development of detailed cost estimates, ensuring alignment with client budgets and objectives. 3. Steering the tender process, including defining procurement strategies and reviewing supplier capabilities. 4. Managing high-level commercial risk assessments and value engineering exercises. 5. Leading tender analysis and negotiating high-value procurement packages. 6. Preparing executive-level procurement and tender reports for client presentations. 7. Establishing robust change management and variation protocols for financial governance. 8. Providing strategic cost advice during design development and pre-construction phases. 9. Presenting monthly cost reports and forecasts to senior stakeholders. 10. Guiding final account strategy and ensuring timely closure. 🏗️ Key Responsibilities – Post-Contract Phase 1. Directing all post-contract cost management functions including cost control, reporting, and change management. 2. Ensuring rigorous management of cost variations, claims analysis, and risk mitigation strategies. 3. Leading the preparation and submission of financial reporting packages to senior leadership and clients. 4. Driving performance reviews, cost audits, and continuous improvement of cost management practices. 5. Managing the final account process, ensuring client objectives and project timelines are met. 6. Overseeing benchmarking data and cost database management for future projects. 🎓 Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; advanced qualifications in Cost Management preferred. Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of CostX is desirable. Minimum 15+ years of experience, with a proven track record in cost leadership roles within construction consultancy firms. Prior experience handling both Indian and international projects is highly valued. Demonstrated capability in leading cost teams and mentoring junior professionals. Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement routes, value management, and cost validation. 💼 Additional Attributes Strong leadership and people management skills. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. Ability to manage multiple high-value commissions in parallel. Broad sectoral exposure in property, infrastructure, and mixed-use developments.
