About the Role

You will demonstrate an innovative approach to engineering & systems practices, contributing towards overall cloud infra build. You will act as developer advocate & partner, to both represent developer's needs and also assist developers in adoption of cloud & emerging technologies. You will foster a culture that has continuous improvement with automation at its heart. You will contribute to the evolution of ways of working & operating models that scale the organization and its technology adoption and utilization. As a cloud engineer, you will coach and mentor colleagues as part of a reciprocal relationship that ensures the entire team maintain a cutting-edge skillset.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain highly available and scalable GCP infrastructure to support our applications and services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, and operations, to architect and implement secure, efficient, and cost-effective solutions on GCP.
• Develop and enforce best practices for infrastructure as code, configuration management, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Monitor and troubleshoot GCP infrastructure performance, identify and resolve bottlenecks, and optimize resource utilization.
• Implement security measures and best practices to protect data and infrastructure, including identity and access management, network security, and data encryption.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and ensure seamless integration with GCP services.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest GCP technologies, trends, and best practices, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with ForgeRock/Ping IAM products (AM, IDM, IG, DS).
• Deep understanding of IAM architecture, integration methods, REST APIs, and directory services.
• Experience in Java development, Spring Boot, scripting and secure coding standards.
• Proven experience deploying, managing, and scaling applications in Kubernetes environments, particularly Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
• Exposure to DevOps, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Good understanding of Authentication, Authorization, MFA, SSO, Federation, OAuth, OIDC, Provisioning, Reconciliation, Proxy and Directory Services concepts.
• Should have knowledge of AD, LDAP, Database integration.
• Java development experience for customizations and enhancements of IAM systems, including writing secure, maintainable code to support authentication and authorization workflows.
• Knowledge of IAM solutions in Cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and how IAM integrates within those platforms.
• Experience with API security and integration using JSON, REST, and web services.
