Job Summary
PwC’s Operations and Supply Chain Solutions (OSCS) – Physical Product Development & Manufacturing (PPDM) team partners with clients across diverse industries to address critical business challenges and drive transformation in how products are designed, engineered, and manufactured. The team delivers impact through strategic advisory and implementation services in the areas of Manufacturing Excellence, Digital Manufacturing, Product Development Excellence, Digital Engineering, and Connected Physical Products & IoT.
Position Requirements
Knowledge Preferred:
- Working knowledge of core shop-floor processes across production, quality, maintenance, and material flow
- Experience with assessment of existing manufacturing workflows and identification opportunities for process reliability, waste reduction, and throughput improvement.
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, or other improvement methodologies to support digital use case design and value realization
- Experience with working with client teams to translate process requirements into functional specifications, workflows, user interfaces, and data models.
- Led or supported hands-on configuration and implementation of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) such as Tulip, Mendix, Apriso, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with configuring, prototyping, testing, and deploying digital solutions such as Seeq, Riverlogic, IoT platforms, dashboards, and analytics tools.
- Experience with IoT sensors, edge devices, and data acquisition systems to enable real-time production insights
- Deployment and Project Management – Experience with supporting end-to-end digital deployments—from pilot design and testing to multi-site rollout. Comfortable with coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders to manage timelines, requirements, and change adoption.
Skills Preferred
- Strong foundation in manufacturing or maintenance operations, with experience working directly on or with shop-floor teams.
- Proven ability to design, configure, and deploy digital manufacturing technologies—not just evaluate or recommend them.
- Comfortable operating in both technical and operational environments, serving as the bridge between business users and technical developers.
- Excels in assessment-style engagements, quickly diagnosing issues and shaping actionable digital solutions.
- Ability to synthesize manufacturing data and convert it into actionable recommendations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for client-facing interactions.
- Understanding of industry regulations and ensuring compliance of digital transformation with standards like CSV and GxP.
Qualifications
Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field from Tier 1 colleges
- MBA in Operations (Preferred)

- Senior Associate: 4-7 years of experience
